if there is something that happens way too often in the rpc is seeing people mishandle the portrayal of mentally ill characters. who could ever forget those godawful asylum rps that made a complete mockery of mentally ill. and while those groups might have disappeared, the problematique portrayals have not. i am not an expert, nor am i a psychologist or a shrink, but as a person living with bpd i’ve figured i’d write this and hopefully help people people out and inform them.
